Babylon 5 at 20: A Visual Celebration
EXAMINE DETAILS THAT COULD NEVER REALLY BE SEEN ON SCREEN
Study the nuances of the Starfury flight suits, the control consoles on the White Star, the faces of the Telepath embryos in the Vorlon genetic engineering tanks, the progress mural in the casino, the “flags” of the League races in the Council Chamber, the stanchions supporting the underground tunnels on Mars, and the etchings on Galen’s staff…every page delivers a moment of wonder.

Now, if you’re a B5 deranged super-fan like me, you already know about this book. If you’re a more than casual fan, you’ll groove on this. If you a casual fan, it’s a risk. Less than a casual fan, you probably won’t care.
Note of Warning: This is a big (12x12), heavy (6 lbs.), and expensive book.
HOWEVER: It is an impressive hardcover, glossy paged full-color book (with bookmarker ribbon), with hard slipcover case, and impressively safely-shipped. High quality, no doubt about it.
I received it today, and consumed it in a few scant hours after work.
It is very much a “family photo album” for Babylon 5, full of behind-the-scenes stuff, in-jokes, production details, and artifacts you’d never see even at the most extreme Blu-Ray zoom.
Take it from me: I’ve bought and read all of the CafePress B5 books they’ve been putting out, and a lot of this stuff was new to me.
All-in-all, it was worth every penny to me.
If you’re a casual fan or above of Babylon 5, consider checking this out.
